ITS OFFICIAL! Assassins Creed made it. Not a bomb! $212,778,967

And with China around the corner...so happy this good movie didn't flop because of false reviews from critics who did not pay attention to movie. Congrats 20th Century Fox! 

With a reported production budget of $125 million, current estimated worldwide figures suggest the film as earned $23,532,193 after the bills have been paid. (1/11/2017)

After China and Japan, it will probably end up somewhere above $250 million. It currently needs about $37.3 million more to hit $250 million. $300 million is still technically possible, although that would rely on a very strong China presence in order to happen.

The imdb boards will be shutdown shortly before the China release, so unfortunately it won't be possible to discuss the outcome from China and Japan here.

Warcraft was basically DOA in Japan but the Resident Evils massively dominate there. It will be interesting to see how AC fares in Japan.

It is annoying we won't be able to discuss Assassin's Creed China or Japan Results.

A number of people on IMDb have been discussing the possibility of migrating over to Rotten Tomatoes.

I probably will. Thanks.

That's good to hear. Hopefully will be enough for Fox to green light the sequel cause there was some potential here.

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

The decision to greenlight the sequel does not rely on Fox, but on Ubisoft MP. They are the main production company, while Fox is just a distributor.

Nolan, I love you forever!
