I can't be the only one...

I've played some of the games and enjoyed them, I also enjoyed the movie. Why all the hate it's not terrible!

I haven't played the games and I do play quite a lot. Frankly they (game series) never seemed compelling to me at all but I still wanted to give the movie a shot. For once the critics were right. This movie was a steaming pile of manure. Actually this was the worst film I have seen in movie theaters. Also, this is just one of those bad game movie adaptations that will get forgotten in a year. I really hope this movie tanks after seeing it.

Good eye! it obviously sucked, as a movie on it's own plain and simple! regardless of gamer POV.

The audience got lost in the story itself cause there was none! paying attention to detail as though it were real life asking yourself why this and that is happening along with higher questions like why is that guy there and who is that and where did he come from?...film answer no of those and you were forced to set there and take it like a dummy who doesn't want to FEEL he got fooled by the trailers into watching cinematic flop AGAIN within the last 14-year suck period.

Pointless non-Jackie Chan slow fighting with hot faces and no heavy breathing after getting the wind knocked out of'em and doing 12-moves flawlessly later...that's crap Action with no rational explanation.

Like the audience is just child watching cartoons like Blues clues...no thinking involved for the average idiots. Sequel can't be produced based on the first one sucking...it's all money now days which is WHY it wasn't loved by critics and audience undisputed.

Based on the Box Office results it would seem that there are others (myself included) who aren't walking away from this movie talking it up.

As far as critics are concerned I can't remember a movie that was highly reviewed that I liked in a long time. They don't influence me any more than the talking heads on CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, etc. do.

I actually liked it too. It's well paced, the action sequences were really good, Fassbender and the cast did the best they could, the script wasn't great but who was expecting it to be?

Trying to create a channel based on interpreting, reviewing, and even giving you something to laugh about film. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance.

I am totally with you... I am a huge fan of the games and I heard bad things about the movie before going to see it. I thought the movie was great. The only thing wrong with it is that it could have done a better job explaining for viewers that aren't familiar with the games. But I love the fact that the story is basically like the games and yet different; It gives it a different life of its own. The choice to have the ancestor in 15th century Spain was perfect I think, because its a nice combination of the Altaïr and Ezio storylines.

My favorite thing about the movie is its expansion on how the Animus works. In the games you don't really see the Animus at work or feel that its more than something Desmond gets strapped into, but the movie made it awesome. How Callum climbs and falls like his ancestor is doing in the flashback... that was an amazing touch. I'm really quite excited to see the next one!

I have no idea. I just watched the film today. Loved every bit of it. Idk what the confusion is about, the story is straight forward, the action and set pieces are masterfully done. If something was lacking that was the proper Leap Of Faith and Assassin's Vision.

just watched it.. to me it was more like a video game trailer than a video game or a movie and i havent stuck the game on my steam wishlist :)

Yes! It wasn't a great movie, or even a good movie, but it was an enjoyable experience for what it was. I was pleasantly surprised; though, that isn't difficult when you expect the worst.

Catch me when you can, Mishter Lusk.

It was terrible. There were a couple of nice action scenes, but the plot was horrible, also it was historically inaccurate. I give it 3/10, because Michael Fassbender is hot and talented, but even he couldn't save this movie.
