This movie is completely retarded from start to finish, but skipping to the end:

How could she possibly even consider letting the neighbors go? They all still want to kill her, so at best they will be back in 364 days to try again.

The purge failed. If it's supposed to eliminate the stupid and weak, then the Sandin family should have all been dead.

When the guy said to her that it was her call as to what to do with them, if she didn't want to kill them, she could at least have got him to kneecap them, especially that annoying blonde woman...
