Spoiler Norman should have...

Norman should have lived, survived the gun shot. Been deemed mentally insane and sent to an institution where a character by the name of Dr. Bill Raymond would be introduced as his new psychiatrist. That way we could at least have (somewhere down the road) maybe like a mini series event. :(

reply

That's what I was hoping for. Was rooting for Norman to get the help he needed. Sad way to end.

reply

I am disappointed he died.

reply

Sorry for the late reply last, I just finished the series. I completely agree, it would have done more Justice for Norma and I also feel for Alex as well. He should have been the one who met Norma in the woods.

reply

Yes, agreed. Alex would have been a better choice. I would like to have seen Norman survive to kill again😙

reply

Disagree, not everything needs to be milked.

reply

Well, in order for the series to interconnect with the films (where a middle aged Norman runs the hotel with the skeletal remains of his mother) -he needs to survive in the series.

reply

The series doesn't interconnect with the films. They re-wrote the history at least in season 5 and the events took place in the present day (cellphones, laptops, etc). The films took place in the 60's and 80's.

reply

I think it's clear that the series is its own thing and not linked to the films (not counting any homages or references made).
