Why was the sighting of Dan arguing with the postman never followed up?
I know Ellie and Alex questioned him, but it was never explained or investigated further. I thought series 2 might have followed that up, but no it wasn't.
Anyone else notice this?
I have read somewhere that there was a scene that explained this further in a later episode, but the scene was cut in the editing process--so the red herring just staid there--as a red herring.

shareThat was sloppy editing. I know these whodunnits love to throw in red herrings but most are explained at some point. This one just hung out there. Why would a kid argue with a postman out on some rural road? Danny seemed to act older than age 11 too. Tom seemed 11 but Danny acted more 13 or 14.
