James Franco character (Crazy)

This was a complete joke. They talked him up to be this completely crazy bad guy that everyone was so scared to be around. He smacked up a teenager with a baseball bat. Thats it?. He acted like a pussy when Jason confronted him. He did act pretty tough with the girl. Oh yeah. To take care of the issue. The crazy man called another crazy man to do it for him. Very bad writing.

Also, as good as Franco is, his eyes are just too warm and friendly. They betray this character.

I think that was the point. Gator was "small town crazy" -- he had a reputation in a quiet place because small actions speak loudly there. But when the chance to get involved with something bigger came up, you immediately saw how two-bit he was. He's just a jerk running a meth lab, and that's it.

I liked the finale because Gator made the decision to go legit - he left his girl, kidnapped Maddy, and was ready to kill Broker.

He was just a punk.

Personally got the feeling Morgan never really wanted part in Cassie's problem against broker since I think he was Judy happy with his meth lab.

And that's going legit ?

But he was just a punk, well portrayed by Franco imo, btw.
