Why do soldiers and ships become visible when they will attack? Isn't that stupid? They should stay invisible during the attack, so the person doesn't see who or what is attacking him, but every time a soldier will hit a punch or a ship shoot, they becomes visible.
shareI haven't seen this film, but it is a common trope in films where cloaking or invisibility is used that the attacker becomes visible when they attack. It is intended as a limiting factor so the other characters have a reasonable chance of defense.
To an extant it is a logical thought. Most cloaks are presented as some kind of energy field that causes whatever effect achieve invisibility. When something breaks the field, energy, matter, or whatever, its effects are negated, at least for a moment.
Of course, it could be argued the other way as well.
That was so stupid. Only more stupid was that soldiers never fired at protagonist from close distance and were attacking him by hands as he was using his light-saber and other stuff. They give Stormtroopers run for being the most useless villain henchmen.
