Flying Space Leia or Luke milking island creature's boob?

I LOVED this movie on first viewing. I was on the edge of my seat with suspense, and was totally stunned when [spoiler]Snoke bit it halfway through, the harebrained adventure scheme didn't work, and Rey made a fool of herself over a man. [/spoiler] I didn't see any of those coming! And damn, Luke's confrontation with you know who!

I totally enjoyed the first viewing, and haven't been able to think of anything else in the twelve hours wince I got out of the theater. Right now I'm willing to forgive all the film's flaws, even Leia's being able to Use The Force when her lungs should have instantaneously shot out of her nose and turned into a cloud of red ice crystals. But then, if I can forgive the same damn thing in "Guardians of the Galaxy" after several viewings, I might be able to live with it here.

Good lord, this movie sounds so awful.

To be fair, it was hearing that Rian Johnson got the gig. I was worried from that point on.

I had a similar concern with Abrams, but not over basic filmmaking techniques. Abrams knows his stuff, but Johnson was inexperienced.

It really showed in this movie, however, I really enjoyed the stuff that worked. So overall, he did a decent job.

All of it. Just...all of it.
