Did he use the force to get his broom? I say he did, hubby didn't see it.

Yes, he pulled it about five inches using the Force. I think the kid as a "nobody" with Force powers is supposed to reflect Rey being the same.

Broom Boy was the most honest scene of all because it reflected this is all about: action figures.

The original trilogy seems to assert that anyone can be force sensative and something any one can learn. Some will be more talented but all can learn where as Lucas retborked this in the prequels by trying to imply your born with it its organisms in your blood. It just looks like this movie was trying to repair the notion that the force is in every one.
