Just wondering what your thoughts are about after the 9 part series is finished. Will it make sense if when all the movies are watched back to back? And will Rogue One and Solo fit into the mix? Since we probably wont be getting that Obi-wan movie, then we will just end up with 11 movies total.
shareHave seen the original and prequel trilogies, plus "The Force Awakens, so I can't say for sure yet but if there's one thing being done right in each of the films it is series production continuity; the look of the starships and planetary systems do not look too terribly different between the films. This helps makes the series easier to bridge in terms of everything feeling it belongs in the same universe.
The same cannot be said for each of the "Star Trek" shows, since the productions have swapped teams through the years and each series seems to flip-flop through the timeline, prequel this, sequel that, very loopy and somewhat disjointing for newcomers to grasp.
