It's strange, I like or love all the characters in the OT and PT, and yet when it comes to this ST trash, I cannot STAND ANY OF 'EM.

Wait it happening for realz?!

Daisy Ridley is officially returning as Rey for Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy’s Star Wars film set 15 years after The Rise Of Skywalker. She’s the Jedi rebuilding the Jedi Order in the aftermath of the Sequel Trilogy #StarWarsCelebration

I guess its a way to do Episode X without having to do a new 'Skywalker Saga' trilogy, and to include legacy characters to get fans on board (Chewie, R2/3PO, Lando, Forceghosts Luke/Leia/Yoda/ObiWan etc) and Daisy isn't exactly swamped with work offers

reply

Oh, Rey's gonna rebuild the Jedi Order instead of Luke? that's fun

reply

Yeah, because the Force is female, or so KK would have us think.

reply

Oh dude, get off it. We've seen male leaders of the Force previously, and female members of the Jedi waaaaay before KK was ever involved. So perhaps the conclusion you should draw is that the Force (which is not a living individual and therefore has no gender) can be led by someone of either gender, and at this point in time, it just happens to be a female. If you look at it for what it actually is instead of what you want to convince yourself it is, you might be less angry :)

reply

Oh dickhead, get off it with your "toxic masculinity" bullshit.

reply

Because you're totally non-toxic lol

reply

What's funny is I didn't even initially use that phrase, you applied it to yourself. And I used reason, you just went straight to feeling threatened and angry. But that is your sort's default, right? What's next, are you going to call me a libtard snowflake? Please do, I'm waiting. I'm sure calling me the right insult will prove your point.

reply

Luke tried to rebuild the Jedi Order and failed. remember?

reply

Well I guess Yoda did tell Luke that there is no try. So there's definitely no try, try again. Giving up and living in a cave was really the only option. I mean if you think about it, Yoda is the real villain in this whole saga. His hair brained guidance pretty much led to everything being destroyed.

reply

Yoda didn’t literally mean you can never “try.” He just wanted Luke to stop using the word “try” as an excuse to fail.

But yeah, looks like Jake Skywalker took the advice too literally

reply

lando is like 90, kk probably wants to kill him off

reply

probably in some kind of rollator related accident

reply

I would like to see Rey married to Finn and they have a baby girl and with Reys help, she becomes the strongest jedi of all time

reply

Are you atill attention seeking?

reply

Yes. Now can you give your opinion to what I posted

reply

LOL, let's see if this gets made after Indy 5 bombs.

i always wondered if they would ditch the trilogy idea and instead make infinite sequels that just continued into eachother. i think had episodes 8 and 9 done as good, or better, than episode 7, they would've made episode 10, 11, and so on with rey and all them. remember when Rian Johnson was supposed to direct more star wars movies? or when director JD Dillard was attached to a new star wars movie? what ever happened to those? i think they were cancelled sequels.

reply

Damon Lindelof's Star Wars film was set 60 yrs after The Rise Of Skywalker.. With Helen Mirren to play Rey, not Daisy Ridley!
