It's amazing the stuff Jemma did in the nude on camera for a direct to DVD movie, I mean what kind of childhood do you have to have to feel content doing this kind of movie work? I'd give her an 8/10, sometimes the screams would seem artificial, but then again you never know what you'll sound like if in a similar situation.

She was great. Better than Sarah Butler, although both were really good. I'll say a 8.5/10.

I can't really see that based on what I've seen so far - I haven't seen the movie, only the trailers - but her screams in the trailers are pretty cringeworthy to me. I'll have to see the full thing first before I can say anything though. Sarah Butler was excellent in my opinion.

7/10 her scream made me laugh at times though.lol but other than that she was not bad.

This is what I'm worried about! From the trailers I've seen, her screaming, like I said above, seems cringeworthy in a bad over the top acting kind of way.

I found a bird closing her eyes, one last time, and I wonder if she dreamed like me

Sarah really brought the whole package. She played the tortured victim very well and was a total badass as the villain. She's a solid 8/10 for this genre, and I could see her becoming a memorable scream queen if she sticks to horror.

I would also like to point out that Jemma's American accent was consistent throughout the entire film. Not once did I hear her British accent slip out.

ofuoku71, WOW!!!! i didn't even know she was British!!! i'm amazed. ok i have to alter my initial response. i think she did a VERY VERY good job. i thought she was just American!

I would have to disagree on that point. Her voice definitely changed from the start to after she was left for dead. Her accent came through and register quite a bit higher.

I had no idea that Jemma is British until I looked at her profile after I finished the movie. I thought for sure she is an American.

I thought I was the only one who noticed this, but seriously, that screaming was literally laugh-worthy. The mocking scream that she does for Georgy was extremely annoying.

As for the main query, I think Sarah Butler was more convincing in her role. I'd give Jemma a 5/10.

Chalk up another person who got tired of her screaming to convey every emotion she had. Who knows how someone would react in that situation, but in this case less clearly would have been more. Other than that I thought she did a great job, but give the nod to Butler in a direct comparison. I know Butler has gone on to do more more, so hopefully Dallender will get the chance as well.

in some parts (the crying/terror parts) she's incredible but in other parts (her exacting her revenge and "I'VE JUST STARTED!!" type dialogue) she was bad. overall i think she did pretty well with a very difficult role.

I thought the same. She was excellent in some scenes, like during rape scenes, or when she's terrified, but other times, she was very weird in her delivery - mostly at the end of the movie, when she's going rampage, but some of the lines where just horrible and it would probably be difficult for any actress to deliver them anyway (reminds me of "it's date night" from 2010 movie).

Overall, I would love to see her in some other movies. I think she's pretty and she is descent. There are lot more of "popular" actresses in B movies that are far worse actress then her. Also, I don't know her age, but she looks very young, and has only one or two movies on her list, so there's a lot of time and place for improvement (for example, if you check Tiffany Shepis earlier movies, she was mostly average at best, but she improved a lot over the years.)

I rate it 4/10 her acting at the end sucked so bad ! I rate her face 1/10 she needs to put on a bit of weight

I thought she was pretty good. I heard the accent slip plenty of times, but she did well overall.

She's strong in the tortured/defeated arena but fell flat in the strong role IMO. I would still rate her a bit higher cause I was really drawn into her trauma. 6.5/10
