Josh was suppose to die in S1, so why keep him and not Cami?

Josh doesn't really have much of a story line and he's fairly useless. I don't know if the show runners want to keep him to show some diversity, since he's the only gay character at the moment, or to add some humour here and there. But if they killed Cami because there was no story for her, why keep Josh who has had nothing for awhile now?

Davina would have been great to keep as well. Since Kol is back, she wouldn't be going after Klaus anymore and could have been another witch for the Mikaelson crew that Freya could train or something. Just like Hayley, she could have cemented herself as part of the Mikaelsons due to her relationship with Kol. It would have been fun to see her do something with Klaus and perhaps get a better understanding of him and give him a better understanding of her.

And yet, we're just left with Josh. :(

It makes no sense. Cami had no story? Davina needs to go too, but Josh stays?  There's nothing for him to do.

It's also bs that Cami had no story to tell. Season 3 proved otherwise, she was more than Klaus' love interest. Camille had a legacy as an O'Connell, she wanted to help protect the innocent people of NO, and she had a closet full of weapons her family collected through the century. In 3x19 it's like they willed her story away. Not to mention she could've been helping Hayley find a cure for the bite using said objects.

Cami and Davina dying is complete bull****.

Also: Hey everybody 

I'm in complete agreement! I think what makes Cami's death even worse for me is that it was more about servicing Klaus than it was about her. I love Klaus and Camille, but I think she could've been a lot more than just his love interest/therapist.

Yes! Okay, I loved Klaus and Cami I still do. But her death was all about Klaus and contrary to what Cami haters say, her character was not all about Klaus. Cami was a friend to every main character and helped them in some way. She graduated college, she had a job, she had a legacy, she was one of the only characters that genuinely cared about helping people (and not to gain influence or power). Cami's death was so contrived and poorly written. All of the arcs they set up for her got rushed resolution. What about wanting to help the innocents? What about wanting revenge for Aurora? What about her dark objects she fought like hell to keep? I could go on lol. 
