The Finale *spoilers*

i absolutely loved this show but the final episode was disappointing , what was the point of a dozen people of the human race only left on Earth when they are not able to breed ?
they will all eventually die one day and the human race will be extinct.
Also what the superior beings are? Another species that populates the universe? it was never explained , and what was the point of killing Bellamy?
So in the end Mankind was not saved and ended like that , such BS
Do the books also ends like that?

Yep. I loved the show but the ending was pretty suck.

Well the show is not about survival of human race, but about it's extinction. Director mentioned ending a cycle of violence. I guess that's the only way possible way to achieve it. Everyone else but your friends must be gone. The themes of tribalism vs universalism run throughout the show.

In my opinion, superior beings that judge different species are doing that for sake of colonization. It's just another empire disguised as spiritual enlightenment.

As for Bellamy, I am okay with his death. But the way he was killed was so senseless, that it can't be justified.

There could never be enough posts about finale.

I mean just look what people did to earth. And then those "100 and arq people" went down and finished humanity with their stupidity. Remember that grounders and mount Weather people lived fine for 100 years. Until those Arq idiots went down.

Humans did nothing but evil things to Earth and that other planet. They better be extinct, really.

Time to say Good Bye to emori...really. ☺

I honestly was stunned and horrified at how our band of Arq idiots who are suppose to be smart - destroyed whats left of earth the moment they came down. In a matter of months.

And keep in mind that people were living for 100 years in shattered earth and were fine. People in Mount Weather lived for 100 years. All gone because our gang came down from Space. And then they went to another freaking planet and destroyed that civilization that people had there. People on Sanctum were fine. I felt sorry for them the moment ours arrived. Was like: "You are doomed people".

I understand that shows need to create plots for its characters. But it became very cliche and idiotic when they all do the same: "Our group of survivors encounters another group of survivors who live perfectly fine. They take them in with open arms. Then our croup starts suspecting that something is shady. It ends up with our group rebelling and destroying that other group and move on to another location. Then they encounter new group".

Walking Dead did this every season. It became annoying and people stopped watching. Because what's the point. The 100 really should have ended when they left earth. But they were not cancelled and writers should have make up more stories. So we ended up with two more seasons.

I thought they all transcended? They are no longer "human" right?
