It's needless to say that Elsa in "Frozen" received a huge popularity due to her complexity and struggle, but she gained a fanbase prior to the movie and several reasons for it were that she would be as tormented and conflicted as the Beast. Well, in other words, would the Beast gain Elsa's popularity if the animated film was released today? Do you guys think so?
shareI don't see why not. The animated film is still held in very high regard and part of the reason for it is that you can't beat those characters of Belle and Beast. She was a strong female character before Disney ever really started making them that intelligent and strong and there was always an internal struggle that was identifiable in Beast.
