Is this really a true story?

I mean i can't believe it ! It this a really documented story ?

reply

The case is a proven hoax. The "evidence" is laughable. The movie is entertaining and etc... But it's sad to see charlatans earning money with this.

reply

When movies like this say they are based on real events, what they mean is they take stories made up by paranormal peddlers or crazy people and present them as if they were true. Like a Christmas movie where Santa is real, they are a form of escapism from real life. Sorry if I ruined it for you.

reply

Well... This is a true story in the same way all fake ghost stories are.

Demon hunters and the like are just charlatans (to say the best), but their stories are great for entertaining movies.

This!
I have also noticed this and when you point it out to the people who are so desperate to believe......They will make any excuse for it.
To me, the girls acting this way is more than enough evidence that they were faking it but people choose to ignore it.
It's pathetic.

It's an adaptation of an event that occurred in England.

Life can be arbitrary and comes without a warranty.

If you think this is even possibly real, I have some incredible beach property in Iowa I can sell you.

reply

There is no real case. It's a BS story told by people seeking attention, just like all those "I've seen UFO last night in my backyard" stories from some Midwest folks who are very lonely.

reply

Not the part about the witch. Mary Etsy was a real woman who lived in Salem during the witch trials. She didn't kill her baby and she wasn't a witch. My direct ancestor risked his life to protect Mary and stop the witch hysteria. Without that basis, the rest of the movie doesn't make sense.

reply

Wrong movie.

This signature really brings the room together, Does It Not?

reply

Thank you. None of them are very factual, whether its the Conjuring movies or Annabelle or the Hauntings in CT and other places.
