So most Hanna Barbera movies are bad?

The only one with a good rating I found is Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (1998). The live action Flintstones and Scooby-Doo were pretty bad. The Jetsons were mediocre. Don't know of any more.

There's that Josie and the Pussycats movie, but I think that one has a decent following so maybe there's something there.

I thought the live action Flintstones was okay, but nothing too special either. The live action Scooby-Doo movies were kind of my guilty pleasure. I agree that the Jetsons was somewhat mediocre.

But there is that terrible live action Yogi Bear movie. Do the Smurfs movies count too?

Time will soon tell about the upcoming Tom and Jerry movie.... at least they won't talk or sing about friendship this time!

reply

Smurfs are european, not Hanna-Barbera.

reply

Yeah, but the live action movies are more closely based on the Hanna-Barbera TV show adaptation rather than on the original comics.
