I thought I would hate this, but I actually enjoyed it.

My wife was watching this with our niece, so I decided to sit in and give it a go.

The production value was very good. The cast was great, the sets, costumes and cinematography were all so very good.

Emma Stone played the part to perfection. The story held my attention through to the end.

I could go into all the reasons that I thought I would hate it, but since I actually didn't, I'll leave that to the rest of the users here.

I thought I would hate it too - not a big Emma Stone fan.
But watched it with Wife and Kids and enjoyed it.
A 75 inch TV with surround sound helped tho :)

I thought it was hilarious. Pure entertainment from top-to-bottom.

I too was pleasantly surprised. I mean I expected to at least like it as it’s a back story to a Disney movie I saw as a kid. But I loved this from beginning to end.

Me too. I had no interest in watching a Disney villain movie. But my young adult kids wanted to watch it as part of a family movie night. I was prepared to be bored. This is one of my favorite movies
