im now in episode 10. when that wierd guy was reveled as davos i just loled. readings the immortl iron fist comics. davos is the son of lei kung the thunderer and IS NATIVE TO KUV LUN. thats everything about him. he grew up with orson randell and became a vilian because he was ashamed of the fact that orson who was an outsider has bested him in fighting time after time. making davos some white guy or latino or whatever he is is a slap to the fans of the charecter. further more. even the drunk guy who foght in the china wasent even asian despite trying to mimick an asian accent and suppose to be a chinese.

yes i was against those idiots who bitched cuz danny is a white guy but in this case i would back up the SJW's blindly. this is a shame. to take the few asican charecters and to race-wash them.

Whelp I had a whole big thing typed out here and bam didn't post. not typing it all out again. I will say I don't think was a case of white washing. Believe it or not, while the actor is British, he is born of two Hindu parents. Don't quote me on this but it would appear as though the aim is to make KunLun sort of mirror Tibet's location. In this case since his parents are Hindu IRL, I don't think this is horrendously off. Not all Tibetan's look like a full blooded chinese man. So I don't think is this as atrocious as casting a white woman to play the Ancient One.

that what i said race wash and not white wash just because he isnt causcasian and dosent give him a ''free pass'' over white actors who replace asian charecter. that is a true SJW lunacy. the hatred of white people and the love for everything ethnic. he isnt asian period. hindu or not. davos is an asian. kun lun is tibetian not indian.
