THIS IS HOW YOU DO A REMAKE OF A BELOVED CLASSIC....YOU KEEP JUST ENOUGH OF THE ORIGINAL TO MAINTAIN THE VIBE AND YOU MAKE YOU OWN EXCELLENT FILM FROM THOSE BEATS....THIS WAS GREAT.

Surprised I liked it also.

It's different, but Jake does justice to Swayze! Good movie.
For me the only lacking was the music, but you can't replace Jeff Healey and his band.

And Sam Elliott, of course.

DAMN DUDE!....WE ARE OF THE SAME MIND ON THIS ONE....SAM ELLIOTT AND JEFF HEALEY WERE THE ONLY ISSUES ON MY MIND...THE FACT THAT THE MOVIE DID NOT ATTEMPT TO FILL EITHER SET OF SHOES WAS SMART.

I watched the original this week just to prepare myself for this. Turns out the original is now one of my favourite movie! I was way too young back then.

I’m usually someone who doesn’t like remakes, because 95% of them are garbage, but I’m glad I watched this one, because it was really good! A rare good remake. A lot of fun to watch!
