Who else was shocked to see her as Taskmaster?
I think not showing who Taskmaster really was until later part of the movie was not a bad idea. And by that time I totally forgot that she was supposed to be in a movie, so I was actually stunned to see her with {spoiler alert} a burnt half-face.

First of all, I think she was wasted in this role. All the fights she’s been doing and not seeing her face it could’ve done anybody else. And she doesn’t even speak! C’mon! I expected a better resolve than that.

I guess Olga wasn't allowed to steal Scarlett the show...

I was surprised too. It doesn't look like she'll turn up with bigger roles in future MCU films and I wonder how much ended up on the cutting room floor.

They’re trying to do a Thunderbolts/Dark Avengers storyline it seems so I imagine she’ll return.

OK, thanks. Nothing showed up her IMDb credits as a future project so I assumed she was done with the MCU.

I was shocked when the mask came off and it was Olga Kurylenko: I had no idea she had been cast in the movie.

I was also shocked because it was clear to me that a male had done all the stunt work and masked scenes. You can tell by the posture and walk alone that it wasn’t a female stunt person.

So I agree, she was wasted in this role.
Also side note: why cast one of the most beautiful women in the world only to hide that beauty under all that prosthetic work & make-up? Crazy!

Yeah, she was wasted in the film, because her character wasn't established enough to give the revelation any meaning.

There were multiple stuntpeople for the Taskmaster character including two women. I'm not sure which ones were used in which scenes though.

Oh that’s cool to know.
I should have been less sexist in what I wrote!
I guess what I meant to say was that it was clear to me that it was not Olga in many of the action scenes.
Sometimes they match up the bodies of the stunt really people well and sometimes they don’t.
