Still my favorite MCU movie

Avengers: Infinity War is certainly a triumph. It's a satisfying, partial payoff to the story that's been building since Avengers in 2012. Even though I loved it, my personal favorite is still Captain America: Civil War.
Much like Avengers: Infinity War, Civil War brings a large cast of the MCU together and ends in a tragedy. I think for me, the story that played out in Civil War - the history revealed that binds Bucky/Winter Soldier, Tony/Iron Man and Steve/Cap - made the ending all that more emotionally grueling. That's one of the things I really love about how Marvel Studios makes their movies like their comics. I can recall reading so many Marvel comics that ended with something shocking, where you were saying "NO!" to yourself. That was a thing Marvel did so good. They made their super beings flawed, acknowledging their humanity, through both failures and victories. They've translated that so well to the big screen. Bravo the Russo brothers! They know their comic characters. Steve struggles with his past, Tony struggles with alcohol addiction, Peter Parker is still the awkward teen looking for his way in the world. These one dimension characters can jump from the page and we see ourselves in these characters and their struggles. It makes them all so much more real.

My top MCU movies to date:
1. Captain America: Civil War (still my fave)
2. Guardians of the Galaxy
3. Captain America: Winter Solider
4. Avengers: Infinity War
5. Avengers

It's a fact, Marvel Films is very good at giving their fans just what they want.

Mh personal favorite is "Thor: Ragnarok", that one was made for those of us who like humor, weirdness, and hot men. Isn't it nice that those who like a more serious take on the weirdness and hot men have something made to their tastes? Really, Marvel does what they do VERY well.

Thor: Ragnarok was very good! One of the most fun times I've had at the theater during the MCU's current run. I can see how many people would pick that as their favorite. Grace Randolph ranks it as her current #1 MCU movie. It's in my top 10. I hope they make more Thor movies. He's really stepped up front of the pack since T: RR and A: IW.

It's my favorite MCU movie too. It might even be my favorite superhero flick. Even though they kinda shoe-horned Spider-Man into the movie at the last second, it still flowed smoothly and Holland is a great Spidey.

Agreed on all point and yes, Holland is awesome as Spidey!
