So with the announcement of Jack Reacher 2 this week helmed by Last Samurai's director Edward Zwick, I thought it would be interesting to round up all of Tom's movies with the same director and round up his other notable directors.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive list. The question is also, when will Tom work with a director for the third time.

It'll Be Either Liman Or McQuarrie, Tom Has Already Done Two Movies With McQuarrie (MI5 And Jack Reaceher) And With Liman EOT And "American Made" Will Release Next Year So Two Movies With Both, Now Who'll Be The First One To Work With Tom For The Third Time Will Depend On Whether Tom Chooses To Do Luna Park (Liman) Or MI6 (McQuarrie) First.

Impressive list indeed. And as another poster pointed out, PT Anderson certainly belongs on that list, directing the Cruiser to an Oscar nomination for Magnolia. Some might also consider Bryan Singer a notable director.

DiCaprio is another actor who has made a career of of working almost exclusively with top-notch directors.
