The opening scene in the pilot was horrifying!

What gives the grandma the right to brainwash a little girl that sex is bad? She was a Catholic bi**ch with conservative values and learned the girl to associate pre-marriage sex with shame.

Small correction there: She taught her to associate ALL sex with shame. At no point did she mention any difference between pre- and post-marital sex. The moment the flower is crumbled, she said to Jane, you are broken.

That bitch should be drowned in a bathtub.

Here's a story idea for season 3: Jane should have sex, discover the next morning that she does not feel any different, fly into righteous rage and smash that stupid framed crumbled flower in her room over her grandmother's head. Bonus points for off-screen bloodspatter and screams. (Sorry, just finished watching Dexter)
