When Mallory was giving a clue to describe Paul McCartney, she said “Not no”. I am completely confused by it. Can anyone explain how “not no” would lead somebody to correctly guess Paul McCartney?

Or maybe it’s “not know”?

Probably based on one of lyrics such as "YESterday" or "She loves me, yeah yeah yeah...".
