Will they make the final two ?

I would be surprised if they will. They lost lots on money in this flop.

With 200 millions of a budget and who knows how many more spent on marketing - they only got 95 millions at the domestic box-office. And 300 more overseas. Which you can split in 2 since theaters outside of USA give back around 50% of what they made.

If marketing was expensive then that movie didnt even get what was spend on it.

Each movie get huge decline in box-office.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them......... $234 millions ......... $811 millions
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald......... $159 millions ............ $648 millions
Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore........ $95 millions ............ $396 millions

Which means next one will get even less, Like 70 millions at domestic and 180 overseas. Combined to 250 worldwide.

And those movies are expensive to make.

Wont be surprised if they will cancel it or give money to make forth one and make it the finale one. But the budget will be lowered to 100 millions.

Interesting idea. It's not like the HP movies, where they had 7 novels to get onto the screen, so consolidating FB4 and FB5 into one movie could be done easily.

Frankly it is impressive that they have managed to pull 3 movies out of the one thin book where the main character of the movie doesn't even appear in the book. It is almost like it was nothing more than a cash grab by highjacking a book that they thought was popular and turning it into a franchise it never should have been.

Rumor is they may not.

I'd be surprised if they make two more of these.

I hope not. Scrap this storyline and go in another direction with HP. I thought the Fantastic Beasts angle was silly from the start.
