Imagine that 16 years old Tim Burton made "John Wick"...

With acid colors, operetta villains and boobs.
There's even a dog. It died.

I just watched it....

Thought it was great.

clearly a low budget and Not a great director....But Loved the story and Mads in the lead....

Liked the Twist at the end and the set up for A sequel.

really love to see a sequel with a better director ...

I think that’s an excellent description; and the women in this fit Burton’s taste.

I enjoyed this enough to plan to watch it again. I enjoy pulp in my orange juice and my fiction; but I just watched Crank for the first time in ages, and it embarrasses this thing (and so does Pulp Fiction, but that’s a metaphysical crime movie, not an action movie). Crank is what Polar wants to be when and if it ever grows up. It’s raw, vulgar, insane, gritty, not at all for polite company; and it’s also smart, clever, well-edited and -directed, utterly unashamed of what it is, in fact is PROUD of what it is, has no need to resort to nudity, nonetheless exceeds Polar’s eroticism to at least the first exponential degree, and is all that while being a half-hour shorter than Polar. Phew! I like a good steak, but Polar is Outback Steak House or Longhorn, while Crank is Ruth’s Chris or The Palm or Morton’s of Chicago. Obviously, bloody red meat isn’t for everyone.
