Both John Campea and Jeremy Jahns give lukewarm reviews

No ringing endorsement from Campea, who is normally pretty high on comic book movies. He said it dragged a lot in the beginning but was good. He really pushed the two end credit scenes and made them sound like the only reason to go see Captain Marvel. He claims that one of them is the biggest reveal end credit scene in an MCU movie.

Jeremey Jahns was a bit more blunt in his take. He said Captain Marvel is not terrible, not great, has a couple of moments he likes, has a good villain, it just didn't flow like he wanted. He hilariously adds "In the end, this movie would have probably been a better time if I'd been drunk."
Yeah he said that, just go to YouTube and watch his video.

Not looking good but then I don't plan on seeing Captain Marvel anyway. Going to wait for Avengers: End Game and hope there's as little as Captain Marvel in it as possible. I'll learn whatever is in the end credit scenes from friends who go and see it or online.

Oh and Grace Randolph in her online review stated "this is kind of 'Captain Feminism' the movie." Just finished watching her give her points.

Isn't Campea the guy who cried over Justice League? I thought he was generally anti-MCU?

And am I the only person who gets crazy cat-lady vibes from Grace Randolph?

Campea is not typically anti-anything. He liked Justice League, BVS, Solo, The Last Jedi and all the MCU movies. When he does occasionally give a less than glowing review, he's almost apologetic about it.
As for Grace Randolph, I love her reviews. She's got a unique voice and her own style. No crazy cat lady vibes that I get from her.

I can't stand her voice. I've tried to watch her videos and I just couldn't take it.

Yeah, her voice is an aquired taste but I love her sense of humor and honesty.

Darth did they give any sense of how much impact it has on Endgame? In other words, if I see Endgame first am I missing a big part of the story by skipping CM/waiting for its digital release?

According to Campea YES but according to Randolph NO.

Randolph hinted that the two end credit scenes deal with how the Avengers got their name and how Nick Fury lost his eye. Those really aren't critical to seeing End Game.

I tend to believe Randolph on this over Campea.
