Just going by her looks, it seemed to me that Brida isn't going to be the main love interest of Uhtred (I'm still on Episode 3). She's too plain to be the lead girlfriend.
And the obnoxious behavior didn't help either.

shareIts hard to fathom the casting choice for this one, the role called for a charismatic actress whom the audience could believe in on the battlefield and whom we could readily accept a few Viking chieftains would fall in love and lust over, instead we got a an out of shape frump of a woman who’s delivery is often poor and comes across as a whiny nag, there are some good casting choices in this show but any episode featuring a large chunk of Brida is a chore to watch, thanks largely to a miscast actress.
