Kevin Costner’s skin

Kevin Costner is still attractive but I couldn't help noticing how dry his skin is. It’s screaming for some moisturiser.

I read on Internet yesterday that actors on the show due to covid safety protocols have to do their own make-up.

Costner needs to do a make -up course so he can learn to take care of his skin and cover up all the crow feet.. they are distracting when you watch the series on a PC.

Maybe it is intentionally done to make him appear as the rugged out doorsman type.

Kind of a weird complaint....😂😂

I'm just glad someone is using this site. I miss the old IMDB and just recently found this place and thought it would get more traffic.

reply

Yeah most of the time you kinda gotta wait 9 years to get a response

reply

9 years? You obviously haven’t been on the Elliot Page board.

reply

Lots of IMDB user went to that crappy disorganized IMDB 2...lol. This one is closer to what IMDB used to be
Except we don't get a linked credits list on the actors.

reply

Did not even know about an IMDB 2,

It's a standard forum website and a ton of old memebers went there. Its not nearly as good as this site. The hosts of this site were able to save most posts from the old IMDB forums. If you look hard enough you may be able to find an old thread you started or participated in......I sometimes bring up old threads I wrote at IMDB..😄

That's funny you say that...I was reading a post that was made on The Wire web page and I thought...that is exactly like something I would say and looked up and it was a post I made a couple years ago.

@ Like I said , I’m watching the series on my PC so I got my nose practically on the screen.

You do have a point .. it makes him look rugged which suits his character in THIS SERIES.

Nonetheless, when there is a close-up shot , his deep pronounced wrinkles are distracting.

Maybe cause I’m female and seeing skin so deteriorated, and begging for some moisturiser, “hurts”.

He is clearly not wearing any make up at all and he doesn’t take care of his skin.

It’s a shame … he is only 66 and yet he has skin of a guy in his late 70s.

reply

LOL, I've had that happen to me on this message board.

I laugh because not only will I find a post I wrote, I will go to a board to post the same thing I already posted.

reply

Had the same exact thing happen. Surprise, it was my post.

reply

Wow I just went to check it out and No.

I tried a site that looked like that and I couldn't get use to it.

reply

MovieChat is a good site. As some others have stated, the main issue in regard to not having more traffic is that the IMDB refugees were scattered to multiple homes. Not everyone landed here.

That said, it's not a dead zone around here. It's an active site with a good amount of traffic. However, if you comment on an older film it may take a while to get a reply.

reply

Of course it’s makeup. Look at a photo or two of last night’s Oscar broadcast. Also look up “kevin costner hair transplant. A guy who cares enough to do multiple hair transplants takes care of his skin. Sheesh

I think you may have been meaning to reply to someone else.

@. It’s not a complaint , I’m just pointing out a fact.

He’s an actor he should take care of his face/skin.

And I’m not suggesting Botox or a nip and tuck solution .. but heck, he could put some cream on.

PS: sorry, my reply was repeated twice more so I edited them. 🙃

He's in his late sixties, and you expect him not to have "crow's feet"? That's ridiculous, especially since the character he's playing is a rancher who's been out in the sun and wind his whole life.

@. First off , he is only 66 years old.

Secondly , I’m not talking about him as Dutton but as Kevin Costner.

Thirdly, of course he’s going to have crows feet.

That said, if you had taken the time to check you would get my point.

His crows feet look like the map of China and are deep like crevices.

He has the skin of a person in his late 70s and it’s dry like the Sahara Desert.

It’s obvious Costner doesn’t take care of his skin and has no clue
why moisturisers exist.

LMAO:

Kevin Costner is a multi-millionaire Oscar winner who's been in the most image-conscious industry in the world all his adult life.

But yeah: "sunshine62" has a special, worthwhile perspective on what he could/should be doing about how his face looks. On screen. On a hit TV show. That he's starring in. AND producing.

Yeah, that tracks.

@.I think it’s just natural to want to take care for one’s skin, looks.

Foremost for actors, their face is as important as their acting chops .. the longer they can keep their faces appealing the better. It’s just a fact.

He’s only 66 but he looks much older due to the DRY wrinkled skin. He can afford a good moisturiser, right?

@. Of course, being a multi- millionaire will certainly be handy even in the future ; it will allow him to produce and be the star in his own films.

Plus, it looks like he is missing a piece of his left ear. I suspect he had a growth removed this past year.
