I guess audiences just wernt up for a grey washed out looking medieval rape film starring Matt and Ben (like the 90s never left) and instead chose Bond, Venom or Michael Myers for their weekend cinemagoing

Like in Peace Corps in Romania. I showed the kids "Psycho" but they would rather see "Jeepers Creepers".

I hear its pretty good, though. I still would like to see it. Looks like I'll have to get to a theater soon, though. Might not be around long.

This bombed because, as Chris Stuckmann said himself, these young moviegoing MORONS would rather watch stupid superhero movies intended for kids and imbeciles, rather than a violent and thought-provoking drama with edgy subject matter intended for mature audiences.
