Zero plot. Takeaway: "Women are weak and stupid."

Congrats to the female writer/director for making a movie about a clueless, weak airhead, with conflicting morals, zero goals or purpose, and zero agency, aside from a mere two moments in the entire movie. All you were missing was a horrific r*pe scene. Great idea that she falls for an abusive bad boy -- Awesome, what a smart girl. (Seriously, what says "abusive bad boy" more than a tattooed bodybuilder who literally murders people and eats their corpses.)

If I'm sounding like a feminist, I'm not, (on the contrary, I believe men and women have some inherent differences and progressives call me sexist for that), but this movie actually kind of upset me because of just how MANY negative female stereotypes the main character was guilty of. Other than the main character being unlikeable, there was simply no coherent plot beyond the first scene. I feel like the writer is a drug addict and/or they crafted the plot by pulling words from a hat.

I guess you can say she lived up to her tattoo branding... Bad Batch.

I found her to be strong and intelligent, way more than most women OR MEN would have been in that situation! How she got away, how much physicality it took to get away, how she stood up to Keanu Reeves character and Miami Man - she was so bad ass! I think your issue with her is that she's SUCH a bad ass and you're not, and it just reflects that. Seriously.

Right, taking drugs and wandering around alone into a desert when you're supposed to be watching your kid, decidedly venturing back to the same place where she got two of her limbs sawed off and eaten AFTER she was saved, and then falling in love with a cannibal weightlifter who had previously eaten grilled chunks of her body are all very bad ass qualities. Definitely a strong, intelligent, and admirable character we can all look up to.

This movie was doodoo and so was your insult
