That character feels like such a waste of time. His character is so obnoxious and his life...who cares what he's up to! The worst part is I don't think he's ever been funny, just vulgar. Anyway, just my thoughts.

It feels like they were trying to spin off some of these supporting characters into another series. Dave is one; Chris is another. With just a half an hour per episode, I think this is a tremendous distraction.
shareHe's a weak link in the show for me, I don't find him funny, likeable or particularly interesting. I guess he was created mainly as someone for Rob to interact with outside of his relationship with Sharon, in the same way we see her with her teacher friend.
I'd prefer if he (and Chris) only appear in scenes with Rob/Sharon, i.e. we didn't follow their subplots separately but only found out about them when Rob/Sharon did.
In other words, kill all the vulgar people in the world because there is no place for them in your opinion?
