WARNING! Little to no horror whatsoever.

Don't make the same mistake I did thinking you would use this to get into the Halloween spirit despite the sparse selection currently in theaters. Nothing really scare worthy outside of a small jumpscare towards the beginning of the film. The animatronics have about 3 kills in quick succession and they were again, towards the beginning of the film. For the rest of the film they're pretty much play objects.

Based on what I've heard, it sounds like the filmmakers weren't all that interested in making a horror movie or something much like the game.

The movie is trash. A horror movie based on horror-themed video game franchise that forgets to add the horror.

It’s as bad as the Meg 2 where there is barely much of the Meg in it.

I don’t see how any FNAF fan can be happy with this film, it’s like a Super Mario fan being happy with the 1993 film.

reply

Sounds like you're better off watching The Banana Splits Movie where there's plenty of killing

reply

There are kills but it was a pretty bad movie.

reply

You went to a PG13 movie, bro. What did ya expect?

Signed, million man.

reply

There are plenty of PG-13 films that have had legit horror in them. It's the level of gore that separates it from being R rated. What's your point here?

reply

Name them.

Lol. Those aren't movies with horror. Alien vs Predator and Van Helsing? Get real.

Krampus (2015)

reply

Yeah, its maybe 10 minutes of horror surrounded by 90 minutes of tedium.

If anyone's interested, I reviewed the movie on my youtube channel. Appreciate any feedback. Trying to improve - https://youtu.be/kXnm1bmsq3M

This movie is nothing more than a "gateway drug" to recruit younger viewers. The Horror Movie Industrial Complex puts out a movie like this every now and then to invest in future viewers and protect their financial investments in the endless rebooting of the tired old franchises.

reply

People were so butthurt about the Rotten Tomatoes percentage. The critics got it absolutely right!

reply

They absolutely did! I think in response the cult of fans did a "positive" review bomb.

reply

Movie must really be good if you don't like it.

reply

Fuck off, moron.

I thought we were friends lefty
