Last shot (spoilers) and question of time

When Dane DeHaan rides off with Mia at the end, he smiles, and he appears to have false teeth (his missing tooth has been replaced). Meaning? Was Jason Issaacs reincarnated via the eels Dane was forced to swallow?

Also, his watch stops at quarter past 3, and several clocks feature the same time. Does time stand still in the castle? Would explain Mia's slow maturation.

Not sure if it had anything to do with reincarnation. I know he rides off and is seemingly cured of his workaholic/perfectionist type ways. I'd have to watch the movie again about the clocks and reincarnation.
