Man, Season 3 was terrible

What a mess that storyline was. Not only hard to follow all of those loose threads, but they really left some dangling with no resolution. It's too bad because the first two seasons were pretty good.

Especially the last couple of episodes, they had all of the main characters running around like crazy people, just going along with the flow and helping "Pete" with his 7 or 8 simultaneous cons.

They really dragged out that Lila storyline, and then they didn't even really pay it off. Did you notice Maggie said she didn't take any money from Chuck? And the grandfather knew it wasn't Lila, or was he tricked? They made it seem that it was possible that it was indeed Lila, and she was still alive. But that thread was just dropped in the end. I thought they were going to have Chuck meet Maggie and him say "that isn't Lila".

Never heard of this show...nevermind, it's not about pool cues...not interested.

Watching season 3 it was clear that the show had to undergo significant, last minute rewrites as the new actor who was being be set up as the main antagonist died during filming. That explains why season 3 feels more disjointed.

Oh wow, I didn't know that. I liked the show. I assumed that the threads that were dropped were meant to be picked up in a subsequent season, but then the show didn't get renewed, which was a pity.

Never saw the show, but did hear from the few people that I did know who watched it saying it was decent. Is the actor you are referring to who was set up as the main antagonist who died Ricky Jay?

I gave up on season 3 after 4 episodes because it was so bad. I liked season 1 and 2 but they really messed up the fourth one, what a shame. No wonder it was cancelled.
