Ant man and the wasp underperformed at box office which was not expected

Ant-man is a known figure to everyone after the civil war the sequel should have grossed above 700 million but it grossed only 621 even lesser than dceu's flop jla
Kevin Feige should cancel ant man 3 immediately this franchize is the biggest disappoint for mcu after tih

Made somewhat less, yet was still in the same ballpark as Justice League—a movie that should have made closer to a billion. No, more! The fact that Ant-Man, a character who previously wasn’t a household name like Batman or Superman, came close to DC’s biggest heroes and ultimately made MORE of a profit (by no means a flop) than JL, tells you how wrong you are.

Evidently you’re only purpose here is to spread more of this mundane and ridiculous MCU-bashing. You couldn’t care less about the facts and likely hate Marvel in general. Could u be one of those MCU haters that supports non-MCU Marvel films? Could be. But you’re likely another (same) one of those basement dwelling DC trolls who make it a habit to bash the MCU. Youse guys are so easy to spot. The MCU is coming to an end? Hahaha. As if you’re crowd hasn’t been saying that for years. I’m now referring to your Venom post, of course. Well, guess what... I’m a Marvel fan. Period, biatch. Sony will be the only movie studio left with the rights to Marvel characters, and you’re goddamn right if I think these characters would be better if MARVEL themselves had them. But if Sony can somehow step up their game and make good and entertaining Marvel flicks (unlike the majority of your fabulous DCEU), then I’ll support any Marvel movie regardless. And Sony is gonna take back Spider-Man? Uh, obviously you’re too dense to know how contracts work. So ouch, DCEU fanatic! You know who wins at the end? The MARVEL brand.

As with many deluded MCU-hating trolls on this page, I know we’re in for a bumpy ride with you. So I’ll end it here and in the words of Doctor Strange... bye, bye!

reply

why you mcu fans are so butthurt and can't accept the truth ?
also I don't have time to read this stupid comment

reply

At the end of your name, it says 1996. I assume that was the year you were born? You are 22 years old. Act like it.

reply

I was born in 1992 nightwing1996 because nightwing's solo comic book started in that year

reply

So you are even older than I thought. Grow up, dude.

reply

What grow up ? lol I was just stating my opinion you marvel fans had a history of bashing people calling them a dc fanboy or immature whenever they disagree with you guys

reply

Right now, the only person bashing anybody or calling people fanboys is you.

reply

I didn't bash anyone here till now huh

reply

Your first response to anyone in this thread was to say that anyone who disagrees with you is "butthurt", claim a post was stupid, and then gloat that you did not read that post anyway. That is an immature reaction. You are also the only person acting that way in this thread, yet you are projecting your own actions on to everyone here.

Additionally, having an emotional reaction to a movie making money is not a mature or rational response unless you have a personal stake in the matter. I assume you don't work in the movie industry, so getting upset over a movie making money should not be an option. You are almost 30 years old. I'm sure you have far more important things to worry about in life than if "marveltards" go see a movie. They can stop making Marvel movies tomorrow and it will not make you any happier. Additionally, they can make ten Marvel movies a year from now until the day you die and that will also not affect your life in any way. I don't like the Transformer movies. I think they're stupid and not worth my time. And yet, I know they make billions of dollars and there are no current plans to stop making those movies. The same goes for the Fast and the Furious franchise, come to think of it. Do you know how I respond to that? I go about my life the same way I would if the movies never existed. I have a life that is not centered around whether or not movies I hate make money. You should try it.

reply

The OP you made was made for one purpose, to sow discord, which is what DCEU fanboys do the best.

When someone with a differing opinion responds back , you play the victim.

This is why i cant stand DCEU fanboys , the Snyderbots, Releasethesnydercut morons that live and breath these dark depressing films hes made, think there some sort of masterpiece just so they dont look like tools in front of there Marvel school friends.

reply

And you know this because it happened to you under your previous screen name.

reply

Previous screen name what you mean ?

reply

Oh Martha....sentence structure, word usage.....even the Titan-centric screen name....you're no better at hiding your identity than you are anything else.

Let's not even mention IP addresses. Sure, you two just LIVE together....that's the ticket!

reply

Whom are you mentioning ??

reply

Even when you try to be grammatically correct, you fail Martha.

reply

Another insecure DCEU fan , I could tell straight away as soon as I saw the user name, its probably Marvels least known and favourable character and yet this movie was in touching distance of JL, a movie that cast DCEUs biggest most famous characters, far from a flop, made more than Antman , its a home run im afraid

reply

Not another...look at the grammar and sentence structure and the Nighwing name. It’s the SAME one with another name

reply

I think they have the same mother, but yes, there is a pattern isn't there?? the plot thickens.

reply

Ant-man is no longer a c list character ever since he showed up in civil war stop giving excuse this is the difference between Marvel and dc fans
we dc fans admit that jla is the worst superhero film ever also we admit that it is an utter failure
and then you marvel fans always giving excuse and excuse all the time and call anyone a dc fanboy whenever he/she disagrees with you guys

reply

Hold on , we werent talking about Movie quality , we were talking box office, if an Iron Man or Cap movie made 621 then id say , wow, yep thats not good at all, but Antman that was first released in 2016 has made 621 million with its sequel is very good indeed for a small Minor character thats only just been introduced in the MCU, and your right its not C list its D list , the least known character in the MCU , home run for Marvel, if this film made 300 to 400 million id be in agreement with you.

it almost made close to Man of Steel BO so how you can call this a flop is just typical butthurt DCEU fanboy logic , far to jealous of Marvels success.

reply

it is been nearly 4 years he is not "just introduced " character of mcu lol

reply

3 years, aint long in the movie business.

It had a production budget of 130 million , compare that to DCEUs production budgets and this film is more profitable than most of them, so this is actually more successful, home run for Marvel

reply

So by by your logic bvs is huge successful since it made 873 million in a budget of 250 million (marvel fans everytime claims that bvs is a huge flop)

reply

its not a flop no, but i think before it was released even DCEU fans expected this to make over a billion , i certainly did, but no its not a flop financially far from it.

its a flop in that it was a pretty bad film.

reply

When they talk about how bad BvS is, they're talking about the quality of the movie, not how much it made. It made enough to be a financial success.

Now, some DC fans said the movie was going to outgross Avengers and make well over a billion dollars and they trolled multiple boards to talk about that, which would be why some people threw it back in their faces. That was the bed they made.

reply

Yes AP I remember those days on IMDB, civil war will flop, bvs will make 2 billion , now the dceu stand say Box office isn't important

reply

I remember Nolan fans trolling the boards of movies like The Godfather and Shawshank Redemption since they had a higher user rating than The Dark Knight. A lot of those users got banned and they had the audacity to get upset.

reply

It earned well over 600 million at the box office, outperforming the first Ant Man movie. Considering its small budget and the fact that the series has fewer connections to the Avengers than the other MCU heroes, and feature c-list heroes that never had a huge following, that's not bad at all. In fact, it was originally projected to be just under 600m. The only people who don't consider it a success are butthurt haters who, for some reason, have a personal reaction to how well Marvel movies do.
