The movie is your pretty standard bio-pic. Good performances from Cooper and Mulligan but ultimately surface level. And his fake nose is ridiculous

Many are quite angry; many feel it creates stereotypical characters that look like Jews. We all know Jews don’t have big noses. This is Coopers love song to the Jewish people of America ( 2.5% ) and it backfired. Some want him cancelled.

The nose is perfectly natural, and the movie didn't "backfire". It is excellent in every way.
shareExactly. As a Jewish girl who grew up in NYC with Bernstein on TV every week if not more, the makeup was unbelievably perfect and accurate - it made you forget you were watching an actor. I have a suspicion that many of the people making an issue about the nose are anti-Semitic and trying to hide it
