Anyone think the hate is a little unfair?

I haven't seen it. If you genuinely think it's a bad movie, that's fine. But people were judging it before they saw it. Yes, the visuals were creepy, but that doesn't automatically make it a bad movie. I think people are afraid to like it.

reply

I think it is actually a pretty good movie if people are willing to give it a chance.

I JUDGED IT BEFORE I SAW IT...I SAID TERRIBLE THINGS...MY DAUGHTER CHIDED ME CONSTANTLY FOR IT...TELLING ME TO WATCH IT...SO WE WATCHED IT...WE BOTH HATE IT AND SAY TERRIBLE THINGS NOW...ITS VISUAL VOMIT WRITTEN BY "SPECIAL" CHILDREN...OH AND TAYLOR SWIFT🤮

reply

I've only seen criticism coming from people who've watched the film. So I consider the hate fair.

reply

Yes, it's a bit unfair. Atleats the sets and lightning look really good. And I enjoyed seeing Taylor Swift as a kitty :-)

34K Imdb users say Bottom Rated Movies #25!

reply

I kinda do. I wasn't creeped out by the look of the cats though I can see why others would be. Otherwise, I think it's as good of an adaptation as you can make for Cats. A lot of people don't like this musical, and I don't think anyone considered this a good musical to adapt to the screen, nor was anyone asking for it to my knowledge.

reply

Not unfair - the movie is so terrible I regret not seeing it in the theater and getting in on the first wave of abuse!

reply

No, I don’t think it’s unfair. The broadway show was magnificent. If they had just filmed that it would have been much better. They started with a great show and killed it.

reply

They kind of did…
