it was alright. the problem with the boys lost in the wilderness is that's when the made up nonsense becomes the worst. the true pleasure of these episodes is when they explore foreign cultures and peoples on their adventures. because they really highlight the non-tourist aspects of these countries which is really insightful. in this post covid world i can understand why they'd like to avoid that. being old men and all. the show symbolicaly has become much like an old run down car itself. ya still love it, but its glory days are long past and it's time for something new.
the drawn out showpiece gag of the fuel truck was properly ludicrous.
