shareGerard Butler is a producer, so most people who go to see this expect that he is the protagonist. That makes the twists and turns more effective, too. To Butler's great credit, Alexis Louder is actually the protagonist.
It's too bad he didn't have more money for marketing and advertising. In the John Wick films, you always know that John Wick is the good guy.
