Overrated
It was.....OK. But why are people saying it is the best DC film since TDK? There was way too much gore. I mean unnecessary gore, and it was constant which completely negated the impact. I had the feeling that James Gunn was letting out all his pent up frustration from making Disney films and not being able to gore out.
The movie was OK, had a couple of very beautifully shot scenes, the humour was meh, the plot was routine, the characters were decent but not great. My favourite was squirrel...I mean rat girl.
