It looks like the same old shit we are used to see them, only this time we have The Rock playing another Rock type character who really isn't interesting. Just looks like your generic anti-hero super powered character.

shareThe character has never interested me enough to look deeper into him. I doubt Rocko is gonna change that. I have little interest in mega powered characters in general. They're as dull on the page as they are the screen. There's a reason everybody loves Batman and Daredevil so much. There's a reason they had to turn Thor into a comedian. I'm expecting a pretty top tier superhero movie with this though. This is gonna be Rock's legacy franchise and he's gonna make sure it's all 100. So i'm sure it's gonna look brilliant and have a lot of attitude.

I personally think casting The Rock for Black Adam is the worst decission. He's super expensive and he doesn't look like Black Adam at all (he's bald.)
I've heard rumors that he might don a wig for this role. I applauded his professionalism for that. Turned out it was not true. He's simply playing himself, again.
Haven't they learnt from Vin Diesel's ill-fated attempt at playing a full-haired superhero character and making it bald because he's such a diva?
This is not a Black Adam movie. This is simply The Rock doing cosplay.
