sharePretty much lol. I’m actually not mad they killed John off. They just failed to give a good reason as to why. I can understand not wanting Edward back because of how he looks like and his horrible acting he does now. So instead replacing him just kill him off.

I’m guessing they wanted to sell the notion that mankind will always build an AI of some kind, and there’ll always be someone to step up when we’re at our lowest.
Maybe Cameron himself believes the theory that John wasn’t always Kyle’s son, and time travel isn’t a closed loop as the first movie implied.
