The opening sequence of dark fate would of just not happened and we would get the same movie?? Lol

Pretty much lol. I’m actually not mad they killed John off. They just failed to give a good reason as to why. I can understand not wanting Edward back because of how he looks like and his horrible acting he does now. So instead replacing him just kill him off.

Well, they could have had had another actor play John. His death in DF is so lame.

Welp, Cameron himself approves it

I’m guessing they wanted to sell the notion that mankind will always build an AI of some kind, and there’ll always be someone to step up when we’re at our lowest.

Maybe Cameron himself believes the theory that John wasn’t always Kyle’s son, and time travel isn’t a closed loop as the first movie implied.
