Awesome film, with a but...

Day 89... wherever these things have come from they've decimated society in 3 months, and yet Beardy and his family have already figured out how to survive because a paper said the monsters hunt by sound. So how come government haven't lured these creatures to their death by using sound to trap them and kill them?! Whilst they are incredibly formidable and effective killing machines they're still vulnerable if they can have their heads blown off by a shotgun. Also reckon science bods would have quickly figured out the feedback at a certain frequency disorientates them...

Saying that, still a great movie and cleverly done.

Yeah I had those same thoughts after I watched the movie but I allowed it since its a movie. The main issue I had with the movie was that the pacing was uneven, but overall it was solid and I am happy I saw it

yeah, the plot is not exactly sound but I liked how the movie creates a mood and even though it's not totally plausible, the ways the family painstakingly tries to live a normal day in total silence. That's the part I was mostly drawn too.

Have a short review of this movie if anyone is interested. If you feel there is something I could be doing better, I would definitely love to hear it. Review here - https://youtu.be/k42HUCd0zzM
