ABC renews 'Roseanne' for another season after huge premiere ratings

Barr was amused to note that the ratings for Roseanne were even better than the anti-Trump 60 Minutes interview with porn star Stormy Daniels.

The much-awaited 10th season's two-episode opener, which premiered Tuesday, attracted 18.2 million viewers in preliminary Nielsen ratings, making it the season's top premiere. According to ABC, the audience grew to 21.9 million when the first day of delayed viewing was added.

That means this week’s episode was down 25% in the demo and 17% in total viewers. However, only one episode aired this week and it was always likely that it would see some kind of decline

I'm glad because it means that they get to do another Halloween episode which are always good.
