In these groups, hermaphroditism is a normal condition, enabling a form of sexual reproduction in which either partner can act as the "female" or "male". For example, the great majority of tunicates, pulmonate snails, opisthobranch snails, earthworms, and slugs are hermaphrodites. Hermaphroditism is also found in some fish species and to a lesser degree in other vertebrates. Most plants are also hermaphrodites.

YAHIMA is someone who was BORN as being BOTH a FEMALE and a MALE which is why they also described themselves as being "TWIN SPIRITS" ( or as being BOTH MALE and FEMALE at the SAME TIME).
And according to the book of GENESIS that's also what ADAM use to be before he's SPLIT UP and becomes 2 SEPARATE SEXES.
So IF the GOAL of finding EDEN ever does happen (which is also what CHRISTINA is hoping to achieve), then you can also expect to see whoever achieves IMMORTALITY as being someone who GOES BACK to being BOTH SEXES again at the SAME TIME again.
But my guess would also be that CHRISTINA is also already BOTH SEXES now (due to the way that one also suspects that WILLIAM is also just another ASPECT of her ... which probably also means RUBY actually also had sex with CHRISTINA the other night).
And that would probably also mean that CHRISTINA would be someone who could ENTER EDEN, whereas other characters (like her FATHER and TITUS) who are SPLIT UP into 2 different SEXES would NOT be able to enter EDEN.
