The Problem with Sound of Freedom and the Noble cause it represents....

The issue that many face in supporting Sound of Freedom movie is not about its subject or the Noble cause it represents, it’s the logic and beliefs that drive the narrative ‘logic’ AROUND the movie. Let me explain.

Child trafficking IS real, and I’m sure some 'elites' use their privilege for evil. My issue is the driving mindset from the source and the actors involved in this project and how it's routed in this Q nonsense.

I actually approve of conspiracy-minded thinking as a rule. It has its place in keeping us grounded and not allowing abuses of power.
The problem with Q and aspects of this movie abstractly is that it ignores evidence. Questioning the narratives people present and LOOKING for the real facts underneath is how you expose abuse and evil! People buying into the Q nonsense have gone from a healthy mindset I support to a fast-food that beliefs are somehow fact and are often conflating partisan narratives and the cult of personality mindsets are somehow themselves facts! That is toxic and damaging to EVERYONE and to the foundations of our republic! This is NOT just an issue to the believers of such nonsense, but a virus that spreads to any lacking basic critical thinking skills.
A bigger problem here specifically is many of these 'supporters' are making spurious claims against specific people without facts! This is exactly a line free speech should be limited at!
If you have SPECIFIC facts to support an accusation, STATE them! Don't just accuse someone without basis because you don't like their politics, THAT act is corroding our nation with the fallacy of us verse them damaging narratives!
Don't mistake me, this is a rule that should apply to ALL sides! I'm not taking Hollywood's side, Im saying it's a rule we should apply UNIVERSALLY or risk eroding our republic, period!

In fact, the bias of this Q group is made clear by one simple fact. Its NOT just Hollywood it's ALL Rich and elite that have the resources can do this. Look at Jeffrey Epstein has was NOT a Hollywood elite, but he was rich! Of what we know of his list, who was on it? Mostly rich real estate moguls and political figures. If you look at political figures, even know many on BOTH the left and right have some kind of evidence of having participated or been part of Child Trafficking or abuse, yet have managed to deflect any real accountability due to the color of law!

Again, why only limit the issue to Hollywood, especially since there is NO specific evidence that Hollywood is a center of it, when there is overwhelming specific evidence that real estate moguls and political figures have been caught participating in such things and avoided accountability for such actions frequently? Wouldn’t they be drawn to areas where they have control and the ability to deflect accountability as they commit evil?

That said, i support the issue being discussed wholeheartedly and support those that are dedicated to the cause of stopping human trafficking and child trafficking. In that essence, the movie is about heroes. It's the application of belief as facts that hurts the noble message here

The Problem with Sound of Freedom and the Noble cause it represents....

...is that it hits too close to home.

The Hollywood moguls had their opportunity to expose this problem via the medium and never bothered. Now that someone else did, it stings.

You hit the nail on the head in a most eloquent and even-handed way.

"blah blah blah Q" is eloquent and even-handed? Welcome to tardville

Incorrect.

It's not "due to color of law." The term "color of law" has to do with the denial of rights by law enforcement officers in circumstances where they exercise their authority illegally.

This example of deflection of accountability is due to the untouchable corruption of the "power elite."

And, it's enough to make me want to puke my guts out in total disgust that they are getting away with it...in this area, and too damn many others.

The same Qers who praise this movie also accuse Honduran refugees of being hustlers and opportunists who have no merit when applying for asylum. They hold the same attitude towards other poor Central and South Americans.

Yet here they are praising a doctored and biased story painting the White Christian Yankee as a righteous Godsend.

Total non-sequitur, unrelated issues. The norm coming from tard-town leftists, just obfuscate and distract.

The film has nothing to do with “Q nonsense”. You’re attacking it for the actors private life and ignoring the real issue which is the horrors of child trafficking. You’re turning your back on child victims for political reasons, it’s sick.

reply

Just because you keep saying it's Q related, doesn't make that accusation true, no matter how many times you repeat it.

the victims of sex trafficking end up working in strip clubs and massage parlors. most of their clientele would probably be working class. this notion that all rich people have a harem of young girls being used for sex is just conspiracy nonsense.

I don't know anything about the Q thing, but I agree with your message about people making this into something that it isn't, which is a political and polarizing issue.

Child/human trafficking is a HUMAN issue, not a political one.

I saw the movie today, and I absolutely loved it. My mom is a christian conservative republican, and I'm more libertarian I guess, but it's the first issue we can completely agree on. And that's because it's not about Left or Right, it's about protecting children from the horrors of this world.

If people keep trying to make this a political thing, that doesn't help anyone, especially the children in these situations. It's only when we put that bullshit aside and actually unite together that we can make positive changes. I wish more people would understand that :(
