Outside the top ten, Roadside Attractions has the STX Daisy Ridley-Ben Mendelsohn starring, Neil Burger-directed The Marsh King’s Daughter, with $851k for the weekend after a $310K Friday at 1,055 theaters. With a $806 theater average off Rotten Tomatoes reviews that are at 39% — nobody’s going.

I bet if they made it half an hour shorter it would have made 10 times as more money... but they probably needed to make it long to be inclusive and help all the movie-goers who don't enjoy movies but only go to the cinema to escape their abusive spouses.
From around minute 25 until minute 60 it's exclusively filler made up of shitty acting (and it doesn't help that the actress is herself a neurotic spazz I wouldn't piss on even if she paid me).
Aside from that, it would also have been a better movie if the mother killed herself instead of cracking the skull of her daughter with a rock and then turning her into a tax-worshiping power-whore... and then killing herself...
