I have a theory that this movie is his petty revenge against "SJWs" yelling at him for writing the infamous bikini scene in that Star Trek movie.

I consider myself a sjw and I didn't have a problem with that scene in star treck into darkness.

George Lucas said that there is no underwear in space. So, by that definition, not SJW's, Lindleof was in error with the underwear scene there.
